Making it happen
Experts Exchange – subscribe for solution ? or not
They charge $12.95 montly for subscribing to their site for viewing solutions to questions posted, take a look here for example. Now only if the solutions were not available on the same page, scroll to a third of the page to see the answers. Now this is utterly stupid, I am seriously wondering if they have any subscribers.
Still, I certainly hope to keep the solutions free (they could hide them better in the HTML source or something
to filter out the users).

Well, they actually plant cookies on your machine that count how many free solutions you’ve viewed. So after a certain amount of solutions you viewed you won’t be able to see the free solutions.
Of course… you can simply delete the cookies for a “renewed free subscription”

i think it has something to do with google. e.g. they always tell google the answer, so they will come up on the results, but they never tell people. clearing cookies can work, but so can viewing the google cache (i.e. enter cache: and the url into google) or click “cached” on the result page.
